Jim

Jim suffered from pornography addiction and his marriage was failing when he came to The Green House Center over a year ago.  He described his broken family when as a child his father, an alcoholic, had controlled everyone with his drinking.  He knew he was repeating patterns and had heard a therapist from The Green House Center speak at a local gathering for recovering addicts and their families.  He had come seeking further insight and healing.  After working hard on creating a program for his addiction, attending AA and LDS Recovery Meetings under the guidance of his therapist, and completing 20 sessions of Neuro-feedback, Jim is free of his compulsion to view pornography, something he regards as a miracle.  He has learned about how to create a more secure relationship with his spouse and children, and is on his way to living a life he thought last year was out of reach.
