The Crayon Box partners with The Green House Center for Growth and Learning to provide mental health services to families and children in need. The Green House Center has been a local business for 6 years, and in that time has become a trusted and respected center and served over 1,200 individuals and families.
Their population includes victims of abuse and neglect, families of trauma and divorce, children of foster care and adoption, individuals suffering from anxiety and depression, as well as those who suffer from addiction and their families.
The Green House Center offers traditional therapy, play therapy, sand tray and art therapy, as well as cutting-edge therapy such as EMDR and neuro-feedback. They are often sought after because of their multi-faceted approach and impressive results.
The Green House Center if often approached by individuals and families who do not have access to funding. In order to address need, The Crayon Box is hosting a family event on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2011.

We invite the community to join us for a carnival held at Noah’s in Pleasant Grove from 2pm to 7pm. Experience everything from carnival events, delicious food, spa treatments for whoever needs after Holiday pampering, Wallyball, billiards, ping-pong, Wii tournaments, inflatable toys, and much more. Peruse the silent auction, and participate in hourly raffle prizes.
As a local business, we would like to invite you to become a part of this charitable cause. We are asking for items, services or funds. Items and services will be to be sold in a silent auction, as well as raffled as hourly prizes. Not only are all items tax deductable for the 2010 tax year if donated by December 31, but your contribution will also provide advertising for your business!
Donate to the hourly raffle prizes!
- By donating to the raffle, a 12” banner will be placed at both entrances, as well as the item displayed during the course of the event
- You will also receive one free entrance to the Carnival, as well as 20 free tickets!
Donate to the silent auction!
- By donating to the silent auction, a 24” banner will be placed at both entrances, as well as the item displayed during the course of the event
- You will also receive two free entrances to the Carnival, as well as 50 free tickets!
Sponsor a BOOTH in the carnival by donating $199!
- By hosting a booth, a 48” banner will be displayed above the booth, as well as a 24” banner at both entrances
- You will also receive two free entrances to the Carnival, as well as 50 free tickets!
Sponsor a ROOM by donating $599!
- By hosting a room, a 48”x60” banner will be displayed outside the room, as well as a 11”x13” banner at both entrances
- You will also receive four free entrances to the Carnival, as well as 100 free tickets!
